Dear Community Leaders,
We would like to invite you and/or your organization to partner with us in a compassion project in the Denver area. As Christians, we take seriously the command to “love our neighbor as ourself” and want to show the love of Jesus to those in need in our community. On August 20, from 10am – 2pm, we have secured a location in the heart of Denver at the East Lincoln High School, in which we can provide goods, services, medical attention, food, music, and help to those who need it most. The name for our event is “Love Denver”.
It is our desire to have as many partners as possible helping us with this event. We are looking for those who would be willing to give financially to make Love Denver possible. Love Denver is not it’s own stand alone 501 c 3, because we desire for it to remain a shared endeavor of Denver area local churches. But, donations are still tax deductible, depending on your corporate policy, as checks would be written to Church at Denver, memo’d Love Denver 2016.
As you may know, there are great needs in our community, for two years now, over 1,000 people have attended this event. We believe that we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are hurting in our community. We invite you to partner with us today!
