Your day, step by step

The event opens promptly at 10:00 AM with a welcome announcement over the PA. Here's what happens from there.

  1. 1. Arrive and park

Parking is free and on-site. The event takes place on the football field, so wear shoes that work on grass. Plan to arrive a little before 10 AM if you want to be at the front of the line — but lines stay long for the first hour, so there's no rush.

  2. 2. Meet your guide in the red shirt

While you're in line, a guide in a bright red shirt will introduce themselves and stay with your family for the whole event. They're there to help you find what you need, keep everyone together, and share the love of Jesus Christ along the way.

  3. 3. Register and pick up your tickets

At the registration desk we'll collect some basic information, then hand you tickets for lunch, backpacks, and a food bag. (See the ticket rules below — one important thing about backpacks for kids.)

  4. 4. Visit any station you want

Once you're registered, every station is open to you — backpacks, free lunch, medical, clothing, haircuts, prayer, fun & games, and bounce houses. Your guide can suggest a route that hits everything you need without backtracking.

  5. 5. Pick up your food bag on the way out

When you're ready to head home, the food stations are right by the exit. Grab your bag of groceries on the way to your car — and if you need help carrying it, just ask any volunteer.

How the tickets work

Tickets reserve your share for you. Once you have your tickets in hand, you can relax and enjoy the day — your portion is set aside and waiting. Here's how they break down:

  • One lunch ticket per person — adults and children both eat.
  • One backpack ticket (blue) per child — children must be present at registration to receive a ticket. If you have a blue ticket, you have a backpack waiting for you.
  • One food bag per family.

If you need extra help

Just ask. Tell your guide, the registration desk, or any volunteer in a t-shirt:

  • Mobility: volunteer-driven golf carts can shuttle you between areas if walking the field is difficult.
  • We can help you carry your backpacks and food bag to your car.
  • Spanish-speaking guides are on-site — let us know at registration and we'll match you up.

A tip for hot days and long lines

Most guests arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, and lines are largely gone by 11:30. If standing in line in the August sun is hard for your family, come a little later in the morning — we plan for plenty, and the welcome is just as warm at 12:30 as it is at 10:00. Either way, sunscreen, a hat, or an umbrella are good ideas — there's not much shade in the lines.

See you August 8

Bring the whole family.

Everything is free. There's no qualification, no paperwork in advance, no church membership required. Just show up — we're glad you're coming.

Please leave pets at home. The school still actively uses the football field, and some of our guests have allergies to or are afraid of animals. Service animals are always welcome.
